The development of CBT-i Coach draws upon the manual, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia in Veterans, authored by esteemed practitioners Rachel Manber, Ph.D., Leah Friedman, Ph.D., Colleen Carney, Ph.D., Jack Edinger, Ph.D., Dana Epstein, Ph.D., Patricia Haynes, Ph.D., Wilfred Pigeon, Ph.D., and Allison Siebern, Ph.D. This app harnesses the efficacy of CBT-i in improving sleep for both Veterans and civilians.

A collaboration between VA's National Center for PTSD, Stanford School of Medicine, and DoD's National Center for Telehealth and Technology brought CBT-i Coach to fruition.

Furthermore, CBT-i Coach seamlessly integrates with the Apple Health app and Fitbit to further enhance user experience and effectiveness.
